FitGirls offers small group personal training and boot camps to girls aged 8-16 years with a focus on healthy physical activity and fitness while gaining a positive body image, growing self-esteem and self-confidence and nutritional patterns and behaviours.

Fitness, education and fun are a powerful combination and we have developed a complete program that includes all three aspects!

Our program focuses on coordination development, postural-improvement and correction, body flexibility, cardiovascular fitness and core strength.

FitGirls is designed intentionally for pre-teen and adolescent girls and their ever changing needs. Workouts are challenging, fun, and strive to make a positive impact on the girl’s fitness and over-all self-confidence.

Junior Girls – Ages 8-11

The workout portion will utilize age appropriate equipment and focus on coordination development, postural-improvement and correction, body flexibility, cardiovascular fitness and core strength.

The lesson portion will focus on a different age appropriate topic each week including fitness, nutrition, self-esteem, self-confidence, body image and girl empowerment.

 Senior Girls – Ages 12-16

FitMom’s 

Our 45 minute circuit style class is a total body strength training workout combined with an intense cardiovascular challenge.  Dumbbells, resistance bands, ropes, medicine balls and body weight exercises will be incorporated to maximize strength, cardiovascular fitness, agility, balance and coordination.

Run Club

Fit Girls run club will give the girls the opportunity to participate in a non-competitive running group that creates an enjoyment of physical activity.  Over the eight week Learn to Run program, the girls will follow a walk/run schedule and eventually work their way up to running a 5km distance.  Training side-by-side, despite differing fitness levels, reinforces the group support system and making it more fun. It also provides a chance to encourage one another, especially those who find running more challenging.  Completing the 5k gives the girls a tangible understanding of the confidence that comes through accomplishment as well as a framework for setting and achieving life goals.
